Historic flooding in the departure port city of FT. LAUDERDALE has caused the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to close Wednesday. And is set to reopen Friday at 5 am. The city received 26 inches of rain in the last 24 hours in what has been described by weather experts as a once-in-a-thousand-years type storm. As for its impact on cruises, only Royal’s Liberty of the Seas is set to depart tomorrow, and Royal has not changed any plans yet.
