Pulling up to the historic Greenbrier, America’s Resort, it’s not hard to imagine your vehicle’s horsepower being actual horsepower. Since 1778, just 2 years after our nation was formed, The Greenbrier has welcomed guests to their beautiful, serene, 11,000-acre luxury resort, nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Allegheny Mountains.

To say that The Greenbrier exudes southern charm and hospitality is like saying Southerners kind of like sweet tea and cheese grits. The Greenbrier is truly a magical resort—thoughtfully weaving its history of tradition and excellence with state of the art, world-class amenities offered by a very select few resorts worldwide. Step inside and be transported to that magical time when ladies and gentlemen dressed for dinner and took strolls to White Sulphur Spring–the natural mineral springs, which first attracted guests looking to “take the waters” to improve their health. Soak in the atmosphere and admire the vintage décor, transformed by none other than the acclaimed Ms. Dorothy Draper—hailed by Architectural Digest as “a true artist of the design world [who] became a celebrity in the modern sense of the word, virtually creating the image of the decorator in the popular mind.”

The Greenbrier is an absolute treasure—one that boasts distinguished guests including 27 U.S. Presidents, royalty, and celebrities—and now, thanks to URComped, you have the opportunity to experience all this resort has to offer—first-rate tennis courts, fine dining, exquisite accommodations, and of course, the “18th Best Casino in America,” as named by TripAdvisor reviews.

The Greenbrier’s casino is truly unique. The Casino Club is open only to registered overnight guests as well as attendees of an event or convention when more than 400 rooms are occupied. (There are also membership packages available). This gives the casino an exclusive feel and ambiance. You won’t have to look far to find your favorite games, either. The Casino Club boasts 37 tables, featuring Blackjack, Roulette, Three Card Poker, Texas Hold ‘em, Mini-Baccarat, and Craps. There are 320 different slot machines and FanDuel Sportsbook—which affords members and resort guests the opportunity to place bets on all major U.S. sports, including baseball, soccer, football, basketball, golf, and much more. For those of us who enjoy online gaming, FanDuel and The Greenbrier have developed a new online app that allows sports betters to place wagers electronically on all major sports inside the borders of West Virginia! (Learn more about the online wagering experience at: https://www.fanduel.com/sportsbook-wv).

You will never be bored at The Greenbrier. With more than 55 indoor and outdoor experiences available for you to enjoy, the resort becomes your personal playground. Drop the kids off at the Full Day Program, where they will make new friends as they participate in activities such as Geocaching, hiking, fishing, and crafts, while you take in a round of golf on their 4 world-class golf courses. Find your bliss as you unwind with a relaxing spa treatment.  Indulge yourself in some retail therapy—with their many unique boutique shops, you will have no trouble finding the perfect gift for those back home—and a nice little memento for yourself to include with your big wins in the Casino Club!

The Greenbrier is exceptional, there is no doubt. And exceptional is the perfect word to describe the incredible selection of restaurants located at the resort. With 20 restaurants and lounges, you will never run out of options—from breakfast in bed with room service to happy hour specials and fine dining. The choice is yours at The Greenbrier!  And now, because of URComped’s amazing hosts, you also have the chance to experience the dining, the amenities, the impeccable accommodations, and of course—THE GAMING—for yourself!

As you prepare for your own legendary experience at the Greenbrier, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. The high stakes room at the Casino Club offers complimentary beverages (at the discretion of the Casino). Outside of the high stakes area, players should be prepared to purchase beverages at their leisure. Also, there is a dress code that players should be aware of. Before 7:00 p.m., players can relax in resort attire (collared sport shirts, sweaters, slacks, and walking shorts). If denim is your attire preference, well-kept denim in a dark shade is the preference of the resort. After 7:00 p.m., it’s time to bask in the gentile spirit of the South as jackets are required for gentlemen. Again, if denim is your attire preference, well-kept denim in a dark shade is the preference. Men’s hats and baseball caps are not permitted.

When Stace is not in the casino trying to finally get her first hand pay, you will find her at work as a Housing Counselor or in class, pursing her doctorate in strategic leadership. She is a music trivia ringer, having spent 30 years as a morning radio personality, and mom to 17 and glam-ma to 28 and counting (yes, really!). Her favorite ports (so far) are St Maarten and Ketchikan.

Just got invited to spend 3 nights at the Greenbriar complimentary with $50 free play daily and $100 the third night. Love this place. It is elegant. Food is terrific and service is spectacular. Tea in the afternoon is awesome. Cannot wait to go.

On July 4 2006, I was married at the magnificent Greenbrier resort. Ladies, check out the wonderful pampering at the spa. Sunday brunch is a must, and a meal at the golf clubhouse is something to look forward too. Great shops. I truly enjoyed the shooting activities.
Been there many times in the past… hope it has kept it’s cachet… I’ve not been there in 8 years… miss it.
